As I'm sure it is the same for all of us, a new week is always filled with new things. 'New' may sound positive, but in real fact that isn't always the case. There may be new hope, but there is always new pain. Blogging is about writing and expression, but I'm not sure if I am accustomed to plain words anymore. I don't really want it to put it to plain words, so I guess a poem will have to suffice. (By the way, I wrote some parts of this poem during Mrs Lee's Math class and Ms Neo's Physics class, don't tell them, I only did what bored people will do.)
For the good of the non-mandarin literate readers, I'll just do a quick translation. However, as Mr Edward once said, some meanings can never be really truly conveyed.
:
An Autumn-Winter's Fracas
Fallen petals emit an autumn fragrance
A wide-spreading mountain envelopes my thoughts
The river flows east in sorrow
In it I cannot find my shadow
After which tears shall fall like rain
Where is the destination of the flow?
Memory lane will provide a frosty wind
Winter may freeze the longingness
Melancholy reaches its highest point
The frozen lake continues to hide its anguish
The waves weed out the love-deprived
Awaking the heartbroken
The light seaches for the love-searchers
Amidst both shine and darkness
Never forgetting a certain endeared person
Inability to differentiate between right and wrong
And the grass will never grow green
Scattered rains only serve to cause more havoc
Even the horizon starts to fade
Nothing but white snow can connect with my soul
Do you... understand? Perhaps not ever, but that may be the best case to happen after all.
