Introduction

“I have often been downcast, but never in despair;
In my diary I treat all the privations as amusing.
I have made up my mind now to lead a different life from other people and,
later on, different from ordinary men. My start has been so very full of interest,
and that is the sole reason why I have to laugh at the humorous side of the most dangerous moments.”

Me

< William Heng
I don't think there's anything wrong with my name.
If you think you know me, read my blog and think again.
I'm imperfect and I'm Lovin' It.
I'm the only witness and the only person who can judge my life.

Heads up. October is the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM). Do your part for the community and your love ones by increasing awareness into the disease's cause, prevention, and cure. Be sure to encourage those within the high-risk range to take a health test in order to save their lives. Remember, breast cancer is the world's top-second killer cancer among women. Protect the females you love, and that will be today.

Alright, karma paragraph over. But do take note, it IS NBCAM this month.

Next.

Haven't been posting for the past few days. Guess I was too busy cooling myself off after the exams. Mostly I read, or went out on trips with friends. Has anyone of you ever tried exploring Singapore's very own Changi Airport? It's a good NE learning trip (or delusional-and-not-thinking-straight trip). In any case, not as if people don't know me to try out weird things sometimes. Looking at such fine pieces of engineering such as airplanes is enlightening though. What's more, Terminal 3 does have a shopping complex in its basement.

And my reply to this : "I would rather watch paint dry." ~Crank that mouth of yours close, Phil.

MRT station at Changi Airport Terminal 2. Brilliant architecture.

I still don't get it. Whoever thought hanging air-con ventilation shaft covers on the ceiling of Terminal 3 was a good idea?

Terminal 1, although old, still has construction going on in its Viewing Hall. And look at those planes! I can spot Silkair and Qantas from here!

Just taking a photo for Min Min near the Terminal 2 check-in counter... pardon the 2-megapixel fail-ness.

But the visit to the airport was just about only the brighter side of day. Happenings in the morning has brought realisations towards friendship to a whole new level. Now...not that I've not had my share of friend trouble, but I had not earlier anticipated that the female side of this problem would have different causes and approaches to such matters. Sometimes a difference in interest can steer everybody off the tracks. While for guys, we prefer to straighten things out quick. Tactless? Not quite. We just don't want to beat around the bush. Both sexes will always have something to learn from each other, I suppose. Learning how to pee while standing up isn't included though. That is OUR advantage.

Frederick has gotten himself into some gruesome wounds recently. A left thumb bundled up in huge bandages, amazing. And Chang Rong always seems to be spraining his legs during our sessions of basketball. Injuring your hands in a game that requires your legs, spraining your legs in a sport which uses mainly, the hands. Again, amazing. As for myself, I cannot emphasise further the importance of proper warming-up of our muscles before vigorous exercise. It does help to prevent cramps afterwards.

Now that it's after the exams. A lot of people are starting to moan about not having enough things to do. That'll will change in due course, with the Bridging Programme coming up. However, academics aside. I do think it's time for most of us to pick up something new to learn or a new hobby to occupy ourselves. Time wasted is life wasted. So buck up.
